This game is the most anticipated sequel to the most popular cooperative first-person (first-zombie rather, pun intended) game where the characters face hordes of zombies in an unexpected journey of survival. On a nitty-gritty level, comparing it to what many consider a timeless masterpiece - a game that nobody has managed to even just imitate well for over a decade, which even holds up against many big name games released nowadays - is a really unfair juxtaposition. If their goal was just making money, then comparing B4B to L4D was a great move cause it likely boosted initial sales a lot, and they don't need to care about retaining players cause they just need sales, not a sustained playerbase. I personally don't care about B4B, because like most modern games it feels very bland, generic, and centered around making revenue, compared to older games or indie games where passion is on the forefront, but even though B4B is as bland as call of duty advanced black ops warfare 57 or fifa 200 to me, I'm not going around calling it a bad game, it's actually alright for what it is on it's own. They're not horrible, they're just average. I'm just tired of giving them a chance at being the best in the business, because they're not at all. I dunno if they will or even can fix some of the weird and bizarre things they've done, like special variations all looking and sounding way too similar, and those things will absolutely hold them back. Faults will be easy to see in general, and by putting a fantastic product next to an okay product, those faults are not only going to be that much more obvious, but amplified.ī4B is solid enough, I think, and with some tweaks it'll be better. In a bid for sales and hype, TRS or WB or somebody decided to place themselves next to L4D which is a risky thing to do, since L4D is a fantastic product. It's always easy to notice faults and harder to acknowledge what's done well, because things that are done well are usually unnoticable - because they're working. The gunplay, the gun variety, the cards, the 4 player teamwork play-to-your-strengths-and-your-team-covers-your-weaknesses style, it all works together quite well. There isn’t much to say here, just don’t be an ass or harass people. If there is already a recent mass-promoting thread of your similar content (Wallpapers/screenshots) it is suggested to share there. If you want to mass-promote content like Wallpapers or screenshots it is suggested to make a single submission instead of many separate ones. However, filling up the front page is not. Promoting a mod, an awesome screenshot or highlight every now and then is fine. 
Users are encouraged to use reasonable discretion in how fast content is promoted. Participating players may reasonably promote themselves for their upcoming matches. “LIVE” posts may be used for important matches. You may also not “drop and run” meaning you post and contribute nothing to the thread / community.ĮXCEPTIONS: Community recognized tournaments and recognized competitive activities. Promoting a community, TwitchTV, or YouTube with just a few lines or “WE ARE/WILL BE LIVE!” posts are not allowed. An example of a quality introduction where genuine effort was made. Moments of you simply horsing around with friends, playing through a whole campaign/chapter (with bots), walking around oblivious and WOWING at that coke bottle are categorized as “Let’s Plays” and are examples of what’s not allowed. Unique being but not limited to: genuine speedrunning & survival runs, executing skill-based actions, or moments where things go horribly wrong (or right). Highlights or videos of unique L4D gameplay are allowed.
